Snow plow info

To all Cambridge Run homeowners,

I just spoke with Larry Hug (our Joliet City Alderman) last night regarding the troubles that we have been experiencing regarding our streets being plowed along with the plows speeding through the neighborhood and breaking several homes mailboxes. After a lengthy conversation, I wanted to pass along the information I received:

1.) If any mailboxes were damaged by the plows - please call the City of Joliet's legal claim department @ 815-724-3800 to put in a claim for mailbox repayment. It was advised that each homeowner should take a picture of the damage and keep the damaged pieces until the repayment has been received. Larry Hug noted that the city should cover a replacement of similar style and materials, but this info should be verified by speaking with the legal claim department first.

2.) If there is a concern regarding no snow plows coming through the neighborhood (within a resonable amount of timeframe depending on snow accumulation) to call the City of Joliet's roadway department @ 815-724-4200 and advise.

3.) If the snow plows are flying through the neighborhood wrecklessly - please try and grab the license plate number of the truck or the truck # and call the City of Joliet's roadway department @ 815-724-4200 to have that looked into.

Budget/Election date has changed from Nov 12th to Nov 21st

The annual November Budget/Election meeting has been changed from Nov 12th to Nov 21st at 7pm at the Village Hall in Plainfield.

This months violation information

Hello Residents of Cambridge Run,

Allow me to first apologize for the inconvenience and confusion the violations generated by this recent property inspection may have caused. In an attempt to better serve your community, FirstService Residential assigned a Violation Administrator to your account. In doing this first round of inspections, the new Administrator inadvertently referenced the Rules and Regulations from another property. The result has been that numerous items not referenced in the Cambridge Run governing documents were cited as violations.

I have heard the complaints that so many owners have called my office with. I will be responding by letter to each and every one of you. You can expect to receive my letter no later than September 6, 2013. In the letter, you will be advised as to whether or not your specific violation notice was sent in error. All violations that should not have been sent will be removed from your account history. Any fines or fees that were assessed for inaccurate violations will also be removed.

Again, I thank you for your patience and ask that you allow me a few days to correct this matter.

Home siding information

Cambridge Run Homeowners,

 

It was brought to the HOA boards attention that several residents inquired about where a homeowner could obtain replacement siding for their homes. Here is a link to the manufacture of the siding..

It was noted that in the original paperwork for the home, the color information would be documented for the siding.
