Cambridge Run

To all Cambridge Run homeowners,

I just spoke with Larry Hug (our Joliet City Alderman) last night regarding the troubles that we have been experiencing regarding our streets being plowed along with the plows speeding through the neighborhood and breaking several homes mailboxes. After a lengthy conversation, I wanted to pass along the information I received:

1.) If any mailboxes were damaged by the plows - please call the City of Joliet's legal claim department @ 815-724-3800 to put in a claim for mailbox repayment. It was advised that each homeowner should take a picture of the damage and keep the damaged pieces until the repayment has been received. Larry Hug noted that the city should cover a replacement of similar style and materials, but this info should be verified by speaking with the legal claim department first.

2.) If there is a concern regarding no snow plows coming through the neighborhood (within a resonable amount of timeframe depending on snow accumulation) to call the City of Joliet's roadway department @ 815-724-4200 and advise.

3.) If the snow plows are flying through the neighborhood wrecklessly - please try and grab the license plate number of the truck or the truck # and call the City of Joliet's roadway department @ 815-724-4200 to have that looked into.
